Former Communities Organized for Public Service (C.O.P.S.) President Andy Sarabia discusses activism in San Antonio during the 70's.Sacred Heart Church is located in a historic C.O.P.S. community, and is the current main office for C.O.P.S.
In the 1970's, C.O.P.S. organized to get the sidewalks outside of the church repaired. When city council ignored their efforts, C.O.P.S. leaders placed signs along the city sidewalks that read "Walk at your own risk."
