C.O.P.S./METRO: Bandera Expressway

00:00 Mar 27 1976 Highway 151 "Bandera Expressway"

Description
Former Communities Organized for Public Service (C.O.P.S.) President Andy Sarabia discusses activism in San Antonio during the 70's.

The Bandera Expressway was a freeway that C.O.P.S. organized against in the 1970's. The organization was against the expansion because it was going to create a physical barrier between multiple C.O.P.S. communities on the West side of San Antonio.

Highway 151 was the solution that city council voted on.
